I know you.
I know you have a photography business and that you know your camera and gear well, and I know you can take a pretty great photo. I know you’re bursting with ideas and a yearning to create.
I know you feel like you’re ALLLLMOST there.
But I also know that you’re feeling a bit stuck - you're probably feeling like you're walking around this industry blindfolded a lot of the time. Like everyone else knows how it works, but somehow you didn’t get the memo. You're afraid that people won't pay you for your creative ideas, and that you're not getting paid what you think you're worth. Maybe you’re not even sure what you’re worth! You aren't booking your ‘dream’ clients and your work feels a bit "meh" as a result. The thought of working in client homes with unpredictable light – or unpredictable anything - gives you the shakes.
I know what you want.
You want a business that represents you, that attracts your tribe and that allows you to create the work you want,
And I know how you can get it.
You want a workshop that has useful and meaningful information and exercises that you can apply to your own business straight away.
You want a teacher who is fully invested in seeing you become the best version of yourself as a creative entrepreneur - because that’s exactly what you are.
You want actionable tasks on your work, your website and your business and constructive, proactive feedback.
You want to take your business to the next level because you're the boss - you get to create the business you want. You get to redefine what creative business and style means to you.
I know you. You’re standing right at the edge and I am here to give you the little push to send you in the right direction.
Mount Martha is a seaside down on the Mornington Peninsula, where bushland meets the coast. It is approximately 60kms (1 hour drive) from Melbourne’s CBD and can be easily accessed via Peninsula Link. We will have a large house to spread out and enjoy for the weekend.

$700 due by 11th of March (this can be paid in instalments - please contact me to discuss)
Can I get a refund if my circumstances change?
All tickets are strictly non refundable but are transferrable. Should you no longer be able to attend, you can sell your ticket onto someone else, or you can use it as a credit to a future workshop or mentoring session.
How do I get to Mount Martha?
The easiest and quickest way is by car via Peninsula Link. Transport to and from the house is not included in the ticket price.
Will I be sharing a room with another attendee?
Most likely some of us will be bunking in together! The house will be big enough to sleep everyone, but some rooms will need to be shared. If you have any special requirements, please let me know.
Food. Tell me about the food.
The incredible food genius that is Plate Got Ate will be catering the workshop across the two days with morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea. All dietary needs can be catered for. On the Saturday evening there will be a communal dinner (on me!) which can either be take-away at the house, or we can all head out for a meal. This will be discussed closer to the date. Light breakfast options will be supplied on the Sunday morning, however I strongly encourage you to head out for breakfast at one of the many local cafes before we reconvene at 10am. Tea, coffee and light snacks will be available both days.
What is the format of the workshop?
The workshop will be covering the full Life: Unmade experience from a creative and business point of view with a mix of full group discussions, smaller group activities, live shoots and a photowalk (weather dependent).
Where will the live shoots take place?
All shoots will take place in and around the house.
Can I stay in Mount Martha extra nights?
The house will be available from Friday 24th -Monday 27th March, and additional nights accommodation (Friday and Sunday) are available at an extra cost of $100 per person per night.
Will there be any down time?
Not much! This will be a pretty intensive two days and I would like to maximise that time to ensure each person gets the opportunity to speak, share and participate. We will have a communal dinner on the Saturday night, and breakfast on the Sunday morning is optional - so you are free to explore until we resume at 10am.
Can I bring my baby/child?
This will be a baby and child free event - I apologise for any inconvenience.
What do I need to bring?
Your camera and a big, open heart and mind.
